Book Your pregnancy YOGA classes
I am a fully qualified Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga Specialist, and fully insured through Yoga Alliance.
I trained with the brilliant Sally Parkes, whose work is widely respected in the field of women’s health and pregnancy yoga.
I also weave hypnobirthing birth preparation into my pregnancy yoga sessions, as I truly believe the two work beautifully hand in hand. Combining mindful movement, breathwork and deep relaxation helps my mums-to-be feel calm, confident and fully prepared as they approach their upcoming births.
Pregnancy yoga is a beautiful way to support your changing body and growing baby while giving yourself space to slow down and breathe. Each session is designed specifically for every stage of pregnancy, helping to ease common aches and pains, improve strength and flexibility, and encourage better sleep. Through gentle movement, breathwork and deep relaxation, you’ll build confidence in your body and connection with your baby, while also preparing physically and mentally for birth. Whether you’re looking to relieve tension, calm a busy mind, or simply take time for yourself, pregnancy yoga offers a nurturing space where you can feel supported, empowered and cared for.
Every Tuesday Evening at Lea Village Hall, Gainsborough, Lincs, DN21 5JA
6.30 TILL 7.30PM

Savasana in Pregnancy Yoga and why its so important?
Savasana in pregnancy yoga is so much more than just a few minutes of rest at the end of class — it’s a deeply important part of your preparation for birth and motherhood. During this time, your body has the opportunity to fully integrate the benefits of movement, while your nervous system shifts into a calm, parasympathetic state. In pregnancy, learning how to consciously relax is powerful; it helps reduce stress hormones, supports better sleep, lowers tension in the body, and teaches you how to soften rather than brace — a skill that is invaluable during labour.
In my classes, I guide you through carefully written relaxation scripts designed specifically for pregnancy. These scripts gently support you in releasing physical tension, connecting with your baby, building trust in your body, and cultivating a sense of calm confidence about birth. Many mums tell me this becomes their favourite part of class — a rare moment to switch off from the outside world and truly tune in. Over time, your body begins to remember this relaxed state, making it easier to access during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
When I began teaching hypnobirthing, I saw just how powerful the mind can be in transforming the birth experience. The relaxation, the breathing, the mindset shifts — all of it creates such a positive foundation for birth. But I also realised something important… our bodies play just as big a role as our minds. That’s when I felt drawn to deepen my knowledge and train in pregnancy yoga with the brilliant Sally Parkes, whose work is so respected in the world of women’s health and birth preparation.
Pregnancy yoga beautifully complements hypnobirthing by:
🌿 Preparing the body physically for labour through strength, balance and flexibility
🌬 Enhancing the breathing techniques used in hypnobirthing
💤 Reducing stress and tension so relaxation comes more naturally
🤍 Encouraging bonding with baby through mindful movement
Together, hypnobirthing and pregnancy yoga create a complete mind-body toolkit — empowering you with confidence, calm and connection throughout pregnancy and birth. I can’t wait to share both practices with the families I support, so they can step into birth feeling strong, calm and truly ready.
